Hi, I’m Janice!
I am a Korean American, 26 year old, freelance model.
I am currently looking to partner with agencies in the Los Angeles area. I ideally would love to work with an agency that provides travel.
I am primarily a swimsuit, commercial and promotional model. However, I am open to new opportunities!
I have an athletic body type and a slim figure. I have four tattoos. All located on the left side of my body, I have 2 small ones on my wrist, one on my forearm and the last on my ribs. Lastly, I have a prominent scar on my right knee from a diving accident, it is about an inch big.
I have worked with companies all over the world, from athletic wear, swimsuit brands, sunglasses, to doing commercials for different restaurants. Some companies that I have worked with are: LSKD based in Australia, Eomik Fitness, Serei Swim, Plumeria Swimwear, William Painter and IndoSwim. I have done photoshoots with local companies such as Banan Ice Cream and Body Gym. I have also been in commercials for Off The Wall Brewing and Chambers Escape Room.
I am a very passionate person where I focus my work and my life around the things that align with my morals and values. I utilize my platforms to showcase the authenticity of my life and I run a travel blog that is oriented around traveling as cheaply and affordably for those that want to get on the go without feeling financially constrained. My ultimate goal with it is to provide a platform and a voice for women of color that may not feel empowered to go out and explore the world.
In addition to my love for travel, I am also SO passionate about the environment, sustainability, and culture. I am always striving to make a positive impact whether that comes in forms of organizing beach cleanups, discussing how to be more sustainable within consumption culture or picking up trash while free diving. I see a lot of value in being a role model within the community I am in and constantly aspire to learn more!
I am a very disciplined and organized person. I was a junior olympic swimmer and was a competitive athlete in various other sports growing up. I’ve taken those skills into my day to day hobbies such as free diving and golfing for fun! I know how to work hard and strive towards my goals. You’ll always find me out and about, whether that is socializing, kicking ass at the gym, at the beach, in the ocean or really anything that involves the outdoors!
Overall, I identify as an artist. I graduated college as a studio arts major and have always had a deep love and appreciation for the arts. I was primarily a painter but I recently have really enjoyed exploring different creative spaces such as modeling, blogging and photography.
I am commonly described as impulsive, charismatic and intuitive. I’m personable and I LOVE to talk! I love to meet new people and am sometimes painfully extroverted. I am very in tune with my feelings and thoughts where I actively aspire to be my highest and truest self.
